Ten years of getting people exactly where they need to be

NW Car Services is a locally owned ground transportation company operating chauffeured sedans, SUVs, and vans across Seattle, Bellevue, Tacoma, and the greater Puget Sound region. We are not a broker and not an app. The vehicle that arrives is ours, the chauffeur driving it works for us, and the person answering the phone at four in the morning is on our team.

01 — Our story

Built in the Northwest, for the Northwest.

NW Car Services grew out of more than ten years of running high-volume ground transportation in Washington State. Not consulting on it, not marketing it — operating it, across airport runs, cruise embarkations, corporate accounts, and the pre-dawn pickups that decide whether someone makes their flight.

That experience produced a specific conviction. Most transportation problems are not vehicle problems. They are coordination problems — a flight that landed forty minutes early, a cruise terminal jammed on a July Saturday, a corporate itinerary where the second stop was never going to work. The companies that solve those problems are the ones that own their operation end to end.

So that is how we built. Owned fleet. Employed chauffeurs. Dispatch handled in-house by people who know that the Ballard Bridge goes up, that I-5 through Seattle behaves differently at 4:00 a.m. than at 4:00 p.m., and that a cruise ship boarding window is not a suggestion.

We serve a region that does not forgive vague planning. Seattle traffic, ferry schedules, mountain passes, and Northwest weather all conspire against approximate timing. The answer is not driving faster. It is planning earlier and communicating better.

The standard is simple, and it does not move: be early, be prepared, and never make the client manage the logistics.

Today NW Car Services handles airport transfers to SeaTac, Boeing Field, and Paine Field; cruise transportation to Pier 66 and Pier 91; corporate and executive travel; group movements; and private hire across the Puget Sound. The scope has widened over the years. The standard has not.

02 — By the numbers

Operating experience, measured plainly.

10+Years operating

More than ten years of continuous ground transportation operations across Washington State.

24/7Live dispatch

A person answers, at any hour, on any day of the year. Not a callback queue and not a voicemail box.

1–14Passengers per vehicle

Four vehicle classes covering solo executive travel through full group movements in a single van.

$1M+Liability coverage

Commercial automobile liability well above personal auto and rideshare policy levels.

03 — How we operate

Four decisions that define the company.

Decision 01

We operate. We do not broker.

A broker takes your reservation and resells it to whichever third-party driver is available that morning — no control over the vehicle, the chauffeur, or the standard. NW Car Services dispatches its own fleet with its own chauffeurs. When something needs to be fixed mid-ride, one company is accountable, and you already have its phone number.

Decision 02

Fares are quoted before you commit.

Every ride is priced upfront using starting-from rates that adjust transparently for distance, vehicle class, and time of day. No meters, no surge multipliers, no reading the receipt with apprehension. The quote you approve is the amount you pay.

Decision 03

Chauffeurs are trained, not recruited by app.

Our chauffeurs are licensed, background-checked professionals trained in defensive driving, luggage handling, passenger safety, and the discretion that corporate and private clients expect. They dress professionally, communicate promptly, and know the region without depending on a routing app to think for them.

Decision 04

Timing is protected, not promised.

Airport transfers include real-time flight tracking with automatic pickup adjustment and no delay charges. Cruise departures are timed to boarding windows with terminal traffic monitored on peak sailing days. Corporate itineraries carry buffer built into every leg. Punctuality is an operating system, not a slogan.

04 — Our chauffeurs

The person behind the wheel.

A chauffeur is not a driver with a nicer car. The distinction is professional training, commercial licensing, and responsibility for the entire experience of the ride — from the way luggage is handled to whether conversation is offered or the cabin stays quiet.

Every NW Car Services chauffeur completes vetting and training before carrying a single passenger, and continues to be evaluated on the standards that clients actually notice: arriving early, presenting well, and never requiring the client to manage the ride.

  • Commercial licensing — appropriate Washington State credentials for passenger transportation, verified and kept current.
  • Background screening — criminal background check and motor vehicle record review before hire.
  • Defensive driving training — including wet-weather handling, mountain pass conditions, and Northwest winter driving.
  • Regional knowledge — SeaTac terminal layout and door numbering, cruise pier access routes, event-day congestion patterns, and ferry timing.
  • Service protocol — professional dress, luggage assistance, door service, and discretion appropriate to corporate and private travel.
  • Communication standards — proactive text updates on arrival, delays, and pickup location, without prompting.

05 — Fleet and maintenance

Four classes, one maintenance standard.

Our fleet is deliberately focused rather than sprawling. Four vehicle classes cover the full range of Puget Sound travel — the Lincoln MKT sedan for executive and airport travel, the Chevrolet Suburban for families and groups with luggage, the Mercedes-Benz Metris for parties of up to seven, and the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter for groups up to fourteen in a single vehicle.

Keeping the fleet focused means every vehicle is maintained to the same schedule and every chauffeur is familiar with every class. There is no tier where the standard quietly drops.

View the full fleet
  • Scheduled inspection cycle — mechanical, safety, and tire inspections on a fixed interval, not on failure.
  • Pre-trip check — every vehicle inspected and cleaned before each reservation, interior and exterior.
  • Late-model standard — vehicles retired from service before age becomes visible to the client.
  • All-season preparation — equipment and tires appropriate to Northwest rain, ice, and pass conditions.
  • Commercial registration — every vehicle licensed and insured for commercial passenger transportation.

06 — Safety, licensing and insurance

The part clients should never have to verify.

Commercial passenger transportation in Washington State carries licensing, permitting, and insurance obligations that personal-vehicle rideshare does not. Those requirements exist for a reason, and meeting them fully is a baseline rather than a differentiator.

NW Car Services maintains commercial automobile liability coverage of $1M or greater, current commercial vehicle registration, and the operating authority required for passenger transportation in the state. Documentation is available to corporate clients and procurement teams on request.

  • Commercial liability insurance at $1M+, above personal auto and rideshare coverage levels.
  • Licensed operating authority for commercial passenger transportation in Washington State.
  • Certificates of insurance provided to corporate accounts and vendor onboarding teams on request.
  • Driver record monitoring maintained on an ongoing basis, not only at hire.
  • Incident protocol with 24/7 dispatch escalation and a direct line to management.

07 — Who we serve

Different travelers, the same operation.

Segment 01

Business travelers

Executives and teams moving between SeaTac, downtown Seattle, and the Eastside on schedules that do not allow for improvisation. Corporate accounts, consolidated billing, and repeat chauffeur assignment where preferred.

Segment 02

Cruise passengers

Alaska and Pacific Coast sailings out of Pier 66 and Pier 91, with departures timed to boarding windows and terminal traffic monitored on peak embarkation days.

Segment 03

Families and groups

Airport runs where luggage, car seats, and party size make three separate rideshares an unpleasant idea. One vehicle, one fare, one arrival.

Segment 04

Corporate accounts

Ongoing programs with roadshow coordination, visiting leadership, event logistics, and monthly invoicing handled through a single point of contact.

Segment 05

Private and special occasion

Woodinville wine days, anniversary evenings, concert and game nights at Climate Pledge Arena, Lumen Field, and T-Mobile Park, and the celebrations that deserve a chauffeur.

Segment 06

Long-distance travelers

Portland, Vancouver BC, Leavenworth, and the peninsula — quoted upfront, driven door to door by one chauffeur rather than assembled from connections.

09 — Common questions

About the company.

Who owns NW Car Services?

NW Car Services is locally owned and operated in Washington State. We are not a franchise, a broker, or an app marketplace. The vehicles are ours, the chauffeurs are employed and trained by us, and dispatch is handled in-house by people based in the region.

How long has NW Car Services been in business?

Our leadership carries more than ten years of ground transportation operating experience across Washington State, spanning high-volume chauffeur, shuttle, airport, and cruise transportation throughout the Puget Sound region.

Is NW Car Services a broker or an actual operator?

We are an operator. Brokers take a booking and resell it to whichever third-party driver is available, which means no control over the vehicle, the chauffeur, or the standard. NW Car Services dispatches its own fleet with its own chauffeurs, so accountability stays with one company from booking through arrival.

Are NW Car Services chauffeurs licensed and background-checked?

Yes. Every chauffeur holds the appropriate Washington State licensing, passes a criminal background check and motor vehicle record review, and completes training in defensive driving, passenger safety, and service protocol before carrying passengers.

What insurance does NW Car Services carry?

We carry commercial automobile liability coverage of $1M or greater, well above personal auto and rideshare policy levels, along with the licensing and permits required for commercial passenger transportation in Washington State. Certificates of insurance are available to corporate clients on request.

What makes NW Car Services different from a rideshare app?

Rides are pre-arranged rather than assigned minutes before pickup, fares are quoted upfront with no surge pricing, chauffeurs are professionally trained employees rather than gig drivers, vehicles are commercially licensed and inspected, and airport pickups include real-time flight tracking with no charge for delays. For a 4:30 a.m. departure or a cruise sailing, pre-arranged means guaranteed.

Do you handle corporate accounts?

Yes. Corporate clients receive a dedicated point of contact, consolidated monthly invoicing, roadshow and multi-stop coordination, preferred chauffeur assignment where requested, and documentation for vendor onboarding. Contact info@nwcarservices.com to open an account.

How do I reach NW Car Services?
